The Axe Cut Down is a different animal and one of Legendary Gear’s most trumpeted duck calls. It is the result of two years of research, trial and error, and it has a unique sound all of its own. This call delivers raspy, deep quacks, barking quacks and sharp feed sounds, while maintaining Legendary Gear’s reputation for designing the easiest to use calls in the market. This call can run loud and carry its sound over extremely long distances. The Axe maintains our brand’s exterior call line appearance designed for comfort while giving it the look that is just plain ‘Bad A**’, as described by many seasoned hunters. For these reasons, the cut-down has been claimed by many veterans to be one of the most effective calls on a duck hunter’s lanyard.

DELRIN® – Mid-Priced Call
The composition of Delrin® is very durable and bridges the gap in waterfowl sounds between the acrylic calls and wood calls. Legendary Gear Delrin® calls are CNC machined to the same tolerances as our acrylic and wood calls which maintain our legendary designs to maximize air flow and ease of use. Each call in personally hand-tuned by George Lynch.
